This plant is the world's largest most modern, fully integrated manufacturing facility, for the latest, State of the art, energy efficient, low loss - "Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers".
This unit has a huge capacity and produces around 1000 transformers per day in an area of around 9500 sq. meters.
The no load losses in these transformers are reduced by 70% as compared to the conventional type and they fair much better under non linear conditions (Harmonics).

This manufacturing unit houses PLC controlled semi automatic winding machines, Hot Air Blowing machines, Oil filling under vacuum arrangement which is complemented by a complete test setup.
Within the same premises of this unit, the High Voltage Impulse lab and the Short Circuit lab for type testing the Transformers are established. |
